Job summary

Kier Group plc. is seeking a Digital Construction Lead (Information Manager) to join the Sizewell C team in Suffolk. You will manage information processes, BIM, and digital construction systems to support multidisciplinary delivery of a major infrastructure project.

You will administer the CDE, establish data quality procedures and coordinate with managers, designers, and suppliers, while integrating PowerBI and other digital tools to drive project excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree, HNC/HND in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or related discipline.
• Significant experience in BIM, digital engineering, document control or information management.
• Experience managing Common Data Environments across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience developing BEPs, MIDPs and TIDPs.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle information requirements and BS EN ISO 19650 processes.

• Implement information management processes per BS EN ISO 19650.
• Govern and administer the project Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Establish information validation and quality checking procedures with standards.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, contractors and supply chain partners.

Job description

We're looking for a Digital Construction Lead (Information Manager) to join our Sizewell C team based in Suffolk., This is an exciting opportunity to join the Technical Delivery Team supporting the delivery of Sizewell C, a major 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast. As Digital Construction Lead, you'll play a key role in managing all aspects of information management and digital systems, reporting directly to the Chief Engineer. You'll be instrumental in ensuring information processes align with industry standards and client requirements, while supporting a multidisciplinary team delivering critical infrastructure.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Digital Construction Lead (Information Manager), you'll be working within the Technical Delivery Team, supporting them in managing technical aspects including BIM, information management, and digital construction systems. Your day to day will include:

• Implementing and managing information management processes in accordance with BS EN ISO 19650
• Administering and governing the project Common Data Environment, including folder structures and approval workflows
• Establishing information validation and quality checking procedures to ensure compliance with standards
• Coordinating with project managers, designers, contractors and supply chain partners on information management matters
• Overseeing the rollout and operation of digital construction tools including quality management systems and PowerBI

You hold a Degree, HNC/HND, or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Surveying, or a related discipline

• You have significant experience in BIM, digital engineering, document control or information management
• You have proven experience managing Common Data Environments across multidisciplinary teams
• You have demonstrable experience developing and maintaining BEPs, MIDPs and TIDPs
• You have a strong understanding of project lifecycle information requirements and BS EN ISO 19650 processes
