Are you skilled at communicating with a variety of audiences in creative ways ensuring our Fire and Rescue Service messages are understood and engaged with? Do you have the skills to deliver high quality, engaging photography, video and digital content and have confidence using a range of web and digital platforms? You will be part of Gloucestershire County Council and Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service Communications Team who work on internal and external communications. This role will support the Fire and Rescue Service digital communication needs.
You will be enthusiastic, creative and have experience in digital communications. You will have good written and communication skills, and a passion for communicating effectively through digital channels.
You will be used to creating, scheduling, and managing social media posts and will be confident in using analytics to monitor the success of campaigns. You need to be confident taking and directing photography as well as video content, editing and producing engaging content that gets our messages across in a simple and effective way.
You will also have experience in writing and publishing content for websites and intranet sites. You will be confident in creating and managing email campaigns and newsletters, and understand the latest accessibility guidance.
