The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Digital Channels Manager to join our growing Digital Content team at ITV Studios! You'll be the driving force behind our social video presence, crafting engaging content for YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and other emerging platforms.

Your expertise will extend beyond just content creation. As a commercially minded leader and collaborator, you'll oversee a talented team and develop innovative content strategies to reach the right audience and maximise engagement for some of the biggest brands in television. Your knowledge of YouTube and social media will be instrumental in growing ITV's exposure and driving success across the digital landscape.

This role is integral to increasing ITV’s exposure across YouTube, social media and the global AVOD market, so having a keen interest in these areas would be highly beneficial.

The role will entail but not be limited to:

  • Edit and upload video content for ITV's social video channels
  • Develop and execute social video strategies to drive revenues across YouTube, Facebook and other platforms
  • Mentor and supervise Digital Content Creators and champion content ideas and monetisation strategies
  • Analyse video performance data to help shape the digital channel strategy
  • Work with Rights teams to unlock programme titles and manage rights information
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis, stay abreast of industry trends and leverage insights to improve content and strategy
  • Build relationships with Content Operations, Global Content, Sales, Marketing and Legal teams

Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)

  • Experience creating and managing successful YouTube & social media content strategies to drive revenues
  • Ability to analyse data, identify trends and utilise insights to optimise content strategy
  • Proven track record leading and mentoring a team of video editors and/or Digital Content Creators
  • In-depth knowledge of YouTube and social media platforms and best practices for building and engaging online communities
  • Strong understanding of video editing principles and the ability to create engaging content with Adobe Creative Suite tools

  • Enthusiasm for non-scripted TV content and the ability to talk passionately about it
