Job summary

ThePlaceToBe in Leeds is seeking a Digital Business Director to lead client servicing for a portfolio of key digital performance projects. You will drive delivery across PPC and Social with support from activation teams and oversee a team of Account Directors within a larger client service unit.

You will manage major brands with multi-million spend and coordinate cross-channel efforts including SEO, content and UX to maximise results.

• Must have a genuine passion for digital performance across channels.
• Experience managing digital performance projects with a focus on PPC, SEO and social media.

Responsibilities

• Manage direct client relationships for a tier one portfolio.
• Ensure digital performance projects are delivered on time and within budgets with support from activation teams.
• Line manage a team of 3 Account Directors within a 15-person department.
• Collaborate with a large client service team and across ecommerce client briefs.
• Maintain secondary client relationships and act as escalation point for briefs or issues.
• Contribute to long-term team development including recruitment.

About the role...

As a Digital Business Director, the focus of your role will be to lead upon the client servicing for a selection of the agency’s key clients specifically across digital performance projects

What you’ll be doing day to day...

• Manage direct client relationships for tier one portfolio
• Ensure all digital performance (PPC and Social) projects are delivered on time and within budgets with help from the activation teams
• Line management of a team of 3 Account Directors, sat within a department of 15
• Sit within a large client service team and work with client across the eCommerce space
• Maintenance of secondary client relationships and be escalation point for briefs / issues
• Active involvement on long term team development including recruitment

About you...

To be considered for this Digital Business Director role you must have a passion for all things digital performance

What we're looking for...

• Previous client service / Account management experience within a digital / marketing agency
• Experience managing accounts across digital performance (SEO, PPC and Social Media)
• Confidence to manage a team of Client Service specialists
• Strong experience leading stakeholder meetings and tier one client management
• Worked with huge brands with digital spends into the £millions per annum
• Good understanding of the wider digital marketing channels such as Content, PR and Web Development/UX
• You must be able to commute to Leeds City Centre, 2 days a week
