Farrow and Ball - Digital Business Analyst, Wimborne (37.5 hours per week)

We are currently looking for an experienced individual to join our IT team in Wimborne as a Digital Business Analyst. This is a full-time position with a hybrid work model, based at our head office in Wimborne, Dorset, with home working options.

Farrow & Ball is a luxury British lifestyle brand renowned for richly pigmented paints and handcrafted wallpapers, using traditional print methods and high-quality ingredients. Established in Dorset in 1946, we have grown into a global presence with 60 showrooms worldwide and a network of stockists.

The success of our brand is driven by our passionate team—from those handcrafting our products to our showroom staff and support functions—ensuring a positive customer experience at every touchpoint.

As a BI Analyst, your role will involve working with ERP (IFS Cloud), analytics (Power BI), ecommerce (Adobe Commerce), CRM, point-of-sale (Cegid), and other systems, translating business needs into technical requirements, supporting projects, and driving continuous improvement while maintaining operational stability.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role, preferably within the retail industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Project & Initiative Support: Manage multiple projects from discovery through post-go-live reviews, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  2. Process & Systems Mapping: Document workflows and produce integration, data flow, and API diagrams (BPMN, UML, or equivalent).
  3. Requirements Management: Convert business problems into user stories, specifications, and acceptance criteria for developers and vendors.
  4. Work Intake & Prioritisation: Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize change requests and tickets, applying risk and impact assessments.
  5. Stakeholder Liaison & Documentation: Facilitate workshops and maintain clear documentation of decisions.
  6. Integration Consistency: Ensure new tools integrate seamlessly, adhering to security and data standards.
  7. Testing & UAT Support: Define test scenarios, coordinate UAT, and track issues for resolution.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Identify and track process and system enhancements.
  9. Agile Ceremonies & Reporting: Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives; maintain project boards and reports.

  • Experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and tools like Jira or Shortcut.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, middleware, and data flow design.
  • Proficient with MS Office, Visio, Lucidchart, Miro; Power BI experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience as a Business Analyst in digital, ecommerce, retail, or ERP environments.
  • Familiarity with IFS ERP/CRM, SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Dynamics CRM, CegidPOS, AdobeCommerce.
  • Experience managing multi-system projects in international or multi-brand contexts is advantageous.
