A boutique consultancy is seeking a Digital Business Analyst for a 6-month contract, paying £400-£500 per day (Outside IR35). DIGITAL BUSINESS ANALYST - (CONTRACT)

£400-£500 PER DAY (OUTSIDE IR35), 6 MONTHS, FULLY REMOTE (UK BASED)

Are you confident dealing with stakeholders and experienced in eCommerce personalisation? A boutique consultancy is looking for a Digital Business Analyst to join a high-profile programme focused on delivering targeted, real-time personalised experiences across digital channels.

THE COMPANY:

This specialist consultancy operates in the Digital, Data & Analytics, MarTech, and Marketing space. With a team of ex-client-side experts, they pride themselves on accelerating delivery, avoiding common missteps, and enabling clients to unlock data-driven marketing at scale.

THE ROLE:

This role requires someone with strong communication skills and proven experience in eCommerce or digital marketing. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between stakeholders, product teams, and technical specialists to ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned to business goals.

Specific duties as a Digital Business Analyst include:

  • Leading discovery and requirements gathering for personalisation use cases across websites, apps, and in-store environments
  • Mapping "as-is" customer journeys and defining future-state objectives, KPIs, and goals
  • Translating business requirements into actionable user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria
  • Collaborating with IT, Data, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure alignment and feasibility of solutions
  • Working closely with developers and analysts to ensure requirements are testable and delivered to specification
  • Defining data and content requirements for personalisation initiatives
  • Ensuring measurement and tracking frameworks are in place to monitor performance and success
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

The successful Digital Business Analyst will have the following skills and experience:

  • Proven track record as a Business Analyst on eCommerce or digital marketing projects
  • Strong knowledge of personalisation, segmentation, and customer journey orchestration
  • Hands-on experience with MarTech platforms (e.g. Salesforce Personalisation, Dynamic Yield, or similar)
  • Familiarity with CDPs, behavioural data, and tagging strategies (GA4, Adobe Analytics)
  • Skilled at writing user stories, epics, and process flows in JIRA/Confluence (or equivalent)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with experience running workshops
  • Analytical mindset with knowledge of A/B testing and experimentation methodologies
  • Comfortable working with cross-functional teams including Product, UX, Developers, and Data Analysts
THE BENEFITS:

The successful Digital Business Analyst will receive £400-£500 per day (Outside IR35) over an initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension. This role is fully remote but you must be based in the UK.
