Job Description
We are currently supporting an excellent accountancy practice that is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their Accounts team. They are a highly reputable, mid-sized practice with a great working culture. This role would be best suited to a career bookkeeper or management accountant, rather than a trainee accountant looking to qualify.

This will be a varied position including:

• Managing monthly management accounts preparation
• Reviewing bookkeeping, reconciling accounts up to trial balance, reviewing/submitting monthly and quarterly VAT returns
• Using Xero, but also Sage, Quickbooks, and VT
• Liaising directly with clients and providing a high level of client care

Requirements

It is essential that you have extensive experience working within an accountancy practice, and also with the responsibilities listed above. The right applicant will also have great time management skills, meticulous attention to detail, and possess the ability to work individually and as part of a team. Client care is crucial in this role, so impeccable communication skills and the ability to problem solve and advise is essential.

Benefits

Salary in the region of £30,000-£38,000 dependent on experience plus benefits package.
