Team/Role Overview

Citi’s Investor and Issuer Services support the full securities lifecycle including issuance, custody, funds servicing, lending, and collateral services. Citi provides services to global blue-chip financial intermediaries and investors in over 100 markets, occupying a leading market position.

What you’ll do

The Product Director will drive digital asset strategy and product delivery, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Assets. Responsibilities include developing strategy, managing products, legal and risk analysis, supporting operations and technology, leading governance initiatives, developing commercial models, and engaging with external industry initiatives and regulators.

• Lead initiatives to develop new digital asset capabilities aligned with business strategy.
• Ensure successful product implementation by engaging with partners across the organization.
• Work with the Head of Digital Assets on strategy, planning, and commercial models.
• Oversee delivery of digital asset workstreams, including defining business requirements, scope, governance, and risk frameworks.
• Act as a Digital Assets subject matter expert and represent the firm externally.
• Build partnerships with external suppliers and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.

What we’ll need from you

• Experience delivering digital asset solutions within Financial Services or similar Fintech/Digital Asset providers.
• Strong background in post-trade services, including custody.
• Proven leadership in product development and cross-functional engagement.
• Risk and control experience in Financial Services and Digital Assets.
• Experience with regulatory engagement and industry-facing activities.
• Background in product, operational processes, and technology platforms is desirable.
• Experience managing teams and working in a large, global organization.
• Degree in Business/Finance or related field preferred but not essential.
