Here at Human Appeal, we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Asset Officer and Video Editor to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. The role is full-time on an initial 1-year fixed-term contract with potential for permanence.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will manage and administer the DAM (Digital Asset Management) system within the Communications department, supporting marketing strategies. Responsibilities include uploading assets, data analysis, user coaching, filming, and editing. Travel to field locations for filming may be required to produce content for campaigns and case studies, aiding in the charity’s outreach and revenue efforts. Immediate appointment is preferred.

Key Duties

1. Maintain and upload assets to the DAM system accurately and promptly.
2. Create user accounts and train staff on system use.
3. Generate content synopses, manage vetting, tagging, archiving, and data analysis.
4. Produce and edit videos for multiple channels, ensuring impactful content that aligns with HA’s goals.

Candidate Profile

• Education: Degree in Film, Media, Computer Science, Marketing, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1-2 years in digital content management and project management.
• Skills:
  • Familiarity with DAM systems
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of digital content formats and standards
  • Knowledge of the international development sector is a plus
