Job summary

Moonbug Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented Metadata & OTT Content Specialist to manage metadata standards, taxonomy guidelines, and asset lifecycles for streaming delivery. The role requires collaboration across teams to ensure assets meet client expectations and delivery timelines.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Media Studies or related field and at least 1 year of OTT delivery experience, with strong Excel and Adobe Creative Cloud skills to support content operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience delivering content to OTT platforms.
• Strong knowledge of metadata and taxonomy standards.
• Proficiency with AV file formats and Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate metadata and taxonomy guidelines across teams and stakeholders.
• Manage asset lifecycle and QC processes to meet client requirements.
• Assist with onboarding new clients and managing existing accounts.
• Edit and assemble video assets; ensure correct formatting and delivery.
• Support other teams with projects as needed and adapt to changing priorities.

• Experience in OTT Content Delivery: Minimum one year of experience delivering content to OTT platforms, demonstrating knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Multitasking and Time Management: Ability to juggle multiple tasks and manage delivery timelines effectively.
• Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of AV file formats. Exporting, transcoding, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (particularly Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Media Encoder).
• Microsoft Office Skills: Advanced skills in Excel for data management and analysis.
• Problem-Solving and Research: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct thorough research when necessary.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and respond promptly to shifting requirements.
• Video Editing and Asset Management: Experience in editing and compiling videos and managing non-video assets and archival processes.
• Client Management: Assist with onboarding new clients and managing existing ones, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
• General Support: Provide general support to the company and assist other teams with projects as needed.
• Automated QC Systems: Understanding of automated QC systems, preferably Vidchecker, for quality control.
