Job description

As a Digital Arts Instructor, you will deliver engaging learning experiences tailored to pupils' educational needs, maximising their achievement and development.

You will lead in teaching Music Technology, Gaming, and Media within the school, collaborating with senior leaders to develop curricula and introduce new qualifications in Gaming and Media.

You will work under the guidance of SLT to enhance the standard of Digital Arts across the school.

Your responsibilities include reviewing, monitoring, and adapting the curriculum to ensure it remains challenging, engaging, and appropriate for all students.

It is essential to share the school's values and ethos, creating a personalised, nurturing, and holistic learning environment that meets individual needs.

Ideal candidates will have experience in an SEN/ASC environment, be forward-thinking, engaging, resilient, and innovative in teaching styles, motivated by supporting families and helping every pupil reach their potential.

Minimum educational requirement: GCSE Grade C or above in English and Maths.

Options Trent Acres School is currently expanding, increasing its pupil numbers from 30 to 60, with plans to open an Early Years Unit and extend primary provision. These new roles are part of this exciting development.

The school is purpose-built, modern, and welcoming, featuring specialist areas including an indoor and outdoor riding school, outdoor gymnasium, and opportunities for pupils to work with horses, donkeys, goats, alpacas, and chickens.
