Job summary

Porsche Retail Group offers a 12-month placement in Reading for an undergraduate student, commencing August 2027. You will support the management of Porsche Retail Group’s digital footprint and social media content alongside the Digital and Social Media Executive.

Role involves creating engaging content, assisting with Centre events, monitoring websites, and analysing marketing ROI. A Business or Marketing degree and strong digital skills are expected; role runs Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:30.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Work with the Group Digital and Social Media Manager to develop and implement digital and social media strategies to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Create original and engaging social media content across all platforms, including Centre photoshoots.
• Attend Marketing Meetings and help plan Centre and group events in line with PSG expectations.
• Update and monitor Centre and group websites with timely event/news content, staff details, hours, and imagery.
• Stay current with social media trends and discuss insights with the Group Digital and Social Media Manager and Head of Marketing.
• Monitor and respond to customer feedback and social interactions in a timely and accurate manner.
• Track, report, and analyse website analytics, social growth, campaigns, and car enquiries to measure ROI.

Job:

To support the management of Porsche Retail Group’s digital footprint and social media community by working with the Digital and Social Media Executive to create digital and social media content.

This is a Placement Year position for a candidate currently studying an Undergraduate degree at university, seeking a placement for their third year. The role will commence in August 2027 for the duration of 12 months.

Responsibilities:

• Working with the Group Digital and Social Media Manager to develop and implement digital and social media strategies with the aim of increasing Group, Centre, product and brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Working with the Digital and Social Media Manager, DMS and CSM at each Centre to create original, exciting and engaging social media content across all platforms and channels, including taking part in Centre photoshoots.
• Attendance and involvement in regular Marketing Meeting’s, helping to plan Centre and group wide events in line with PSG expectations.
• Continuous updating and monitoring of Centre and group websites in a timely and accurate manner. Activities include but not limited to: event and news article publication, team member additions, opening hour corrections and imagery updates.
• Staying up to date with the latest social media trends and digital technologies and discussing these with the Group Digital and Social Media Manager and Head of Marketing during regular updates.
• Monitoring and responding to customer feedback, comments, direct messages, social media posts and Centre reviews in a timely and accurate manner.
• Tracking, reporting, and analysing website analytics, social media growth/engagement stats, marketing campaigns and new/used car enquiries, to enable robust measures of ROI.

Minimum Qualifications

• Undertaking a Business or Marketing related degree.
• Excellent skill levels across MS Office, Adobe Photoshop and Image/Videography packages, with a keen eye for photography and videography.
• Knowledge and up-to-date understanding of the latest trends and best practices in digital and social media marketing.
• Proficient grammar and writing skills and ability to create exciting content for marketing communications.
• An understanding of how each social media channel differs with content and its community and to be able to optimise content accordingly.

• Pro-active and ‘can do’ attitude, looking to actively identify opportunities and challenges and propose ideas and potential solutions.
• Ability to prioritise and juggle multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
• Ability to work alone productively and with initiative, but also work closely with various colleagues across the business when required.
• Marketing and communications savvy with a willingness to learn and develop in this evolving environment.
• Comfortable with data and analysis and preparing of reports and summaries.
