We have partnered with a defense and aerospace product technology manufacturer in the Hampton, VA area to provide them with a Digital & Analog Electronics Design Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Responsibilities:

1. BS degree or higher in Engineering is required
2. Senior-level Engineer (7 years min.)
3. Significant hands-on experience is required
4. Strong oral and written communication skills
5. An ability to learn new skills and adapt to new technologies
6. Experience desired, but not required, with Altium EDA tools, VHDL, C/C++, Python, SPICE/PSPICE, and the Xilinx Vivado tool suite
7. Maintain a broad knowledge of electronics analog/digital design engineering
8. Experience working in teams for the formulation, design, development, modification, implementation, calibration, and field deployment of difficult electronic measurement and instrumentation systems or other ground systems, or subsystems for laboratory, aero, or space flight systems
9. Experience with full life cycle development
10. Experienced electrical board designer
11. Consultation experience in the field of digital hardware system design
12. Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues that arise during testing

Skills Required:

1. Bachelors Degree or higher in Engineering
2. Maintain a broad knowledge of electronics analog/digital design engineering
3. Experience working in teams for the formulation, design, development, modification, implementation, calibration, and field deployment of difficult electronic measurement and instrumentation systems or other ground systems, or subsystems for laboratory, aero, or space flight systems
4. Experience with full life cycle development and electrical board design
5. Consultation experience in the field of digital hardware system design
