Job summary

Leeds City Council invites applications for a Graduate Trainee – Digital (AI & Automation). This two-year fixed-term programme starts in Leeds, with hybrid working and a strong focus on AI, automation and Microsoft tools.

Qualifications

GCSEs in English and Maths required
Recent graduate with a degree; relevant field desirable (e.g., CS, IT, Data Science, Cyber, AI)
Willingness to learn new technologies and processes
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to develop constructive working relationships and work in partnership with others

Responsibilities

Contribute to projects to develop essential technical skills and gain hands-on experience
Collaborate with IT staff to implement digital solutions and policies
Analyse corporate data to inform decision-making and policy development
Assist in development, implementation and maintenance of digital platforms and tools
Support cyber security initiatives to protect digital infrastructure
