Love the numbers behind great marketing? Know how to turn advertising spend into profitable growth?

We’re looking for a commercially minded Paid Media Account Manager to join KW Marketing as we continue our exciting era of growth. This role has a clear focus on leading paid media accounts end-to-end, working with ambitious eCommerce food, drink and lifestyle brands that want more than clicks, impressions and pretty reports.

We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes paid advertising, understands the relationship between marketing spend and business growth, and gets genuinely excited about improving ROAS, reducing acquisition costs and scaling what works. You’ll take ownership of paid media strategy, client relationships, campaign performance and optimisation, working closely with our wider team of digital marketing specialists. This isn’t just about running ads. It’s about understanding the business behind them and making every pound work harder.

A typical day might include:
  • Acting as the paid media specialist across client accounts, owning strategy, campaign delivery, optimisation and performance.
  • Planning, building, managing and optimising paid advertising campaigns across Meta Ads and Google Ads, with TikTok Ads experience a bonus.
  • Analysing campaign performance, identifying trends and making commercially informed decisions to improve results.
  • Reviewing ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rates, revenue and profitability to understand what’s really driving growth.
  • Managing advertising budgets, forecasting performance and recommending where clients should increase, reduce or redistribute spend.
  • Developing paid media strategies aligned with client revenue targets, growth objectives and wider marketing activity.
  • Identifying opportunities to scale successful campaigns and improve underperforming accounts.
  • Working closely with our creative team to develop, test and optimise advertising creative.
  • Reviewing Shopify, GA4 and advertising platform data to understand the full customer journey and commercial impact of campaigns.
  • Leading client meetings and performance reviews, confidently explaining results, challenges and next steps.
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for growth within existing client accounts.
  • Collaborating with our email, SEO and creative specialists to deliver joined-up digital marketing strategies.
  • Keeping Monday.com updated so campaigns, deadlines and collaborative action plans stay on track.
  • Briefing the directors on strategic opportunities, proposals and decisions requiring senior input.
  • Creating compelling case studies using real performance data, with a strong focus on revenue, profitability and return on investment.
  • Building trusted client relationships through proactive communication, strategic thinking and consistently strong results.
  • Attending the occasional networking event, client meeting or industry event!
This role might be for you if:
  • You’re genuinely passionate about paid media and love understanding what makes campaigns profitable.
  • You have at least three years’ hands‑on experience managing paid advertising campaigns, ideally within an agency or eCommerce environment.
  • You’re highly confident using Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads, with a strong understanding of campaign strategy, optimisation and performance.
  • You’re data‑driven, analytical and commercially minded. You don’t just report the numbers; you understand what they mean and what to do next.
  • You’re comfortable working with ROAS, CPA, CAC, conversion rates, revenue, budgets and profitability.
  • You understand eCommerce and how paid advertising contributes to customer acquisition, repeat purchase and long‑term business growth.
  • You can confidently manage advertising budgets and make recommendations based on performance and commercial objectives.
  • You’re comfortable using Shopify, GA4, Google Tag Manager and reporting tools to analyse campaign performance.
  • You understand tracking, attribution, conversion events and the importance of reliable data.
  • You enjoy testing, learning and continuously improving campaign performance.
  • You’re confident managing multiple client accounts, prioritising effectively and taking ownership of results.
  • You enjoy leading client conversations, presenting performance and making clear, commercially sound recommendations.
  • You’re proactive. You spot problems and opportunities before someone else has to point them out.
  • You can challenge a brief, question a budget or recommend a change in direction when the data supports it.
  • You like helping people and understand the importance of building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • You communicate clearly, write well and can explain complicated performance data in a way clients understand.
  • You’re creative enough to understand what makes advertising content work and enjoy collaborating with designers and content creators.
  • You’re motivated, organised and comfortable working independently without everything needing to go back to the founder.
  • You have strong business acumen and genuinely care about helping clients grow profitably.
  • You love a spreadsheet, enjoy digging into data and aren’t afraid to challenge the numbers!

Most importantly, you think commercially. You understand that great paid media isn’t about spending more money. It’s about generating better returns.
