Job description

Four is a leading, independent, international agency. From our hubs in the UK and UAE, we bring media, creative and communications together under one roof to help clients move people, change minds and make a measurable difference.

We are sector-led, integrated by design and always looking towards what is next. That means earned, owned and paid working together from the start, not being stitched together at the end.

The opportunity

We are looking for a curious and organised Digital Account Executive to join our team. You will sit at the heart of client accounts, helping turn briefs into well-planned, well-run and effective digital campaigns.

This is a hands-on role. One day you could be researching an audience or preparing a client presentation. The next, you could be setting up paid social activity, checking campaign delivery or helping turn performance data into a clear recommendation. You will work across teams, platforms and sectors, learning from specialists while building a broad understanding of modern agency life.

What you will do
  • Help manage day-to-day activity across client accounts, keeping actions, timings and deliverables on track.
  • Respond to client requests promptly, accurately and with a positive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Prepare status reports, contact reports, presentations, campaign updates and other client materials.
  • Join client calls, meetings and events, contributing effectively and representing Four professionally.
  • Build strong working relationships with clients, colleagues, media owners and suppliers.
Plan and deliver digital campaigns
  • Support paid campaigns across Google Ads, Google Display Network, YouTube, Meta, Instagram and LinkedIn.
  • Help with campaign preparation and set-up, including audience selection, keyword research, copywriting, formats, tracking and asset requirements.
  • Turn client objectives into clear briefs and practical digital media plans, with support from senior colleagues.
  • Coordinate with creative, content and account teams so campaigns launch with the right assets, specifications and approvals.
  • Monitor delivery, budgets and performance, flagging issues early and spotting opportunities to improve results.
Make sense of performance
  • Use advertising platforms, analytics and dashboards to monitor campaign performance.
  • Produce accurate weekly, monthly and end-of-campaign reports.
  • Help turn data into useful insight, explaining what happened, why it matters and what we should do next.
  • Develop confidence working with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta advertising tools, Google Trends and audience insight platforms.
Find the insight
  • Carry out desk research to support campaign planning, client work and new business.
  • Use audience, market and media planning tools to strengthen recommendations.
  • Keep up with digital platforms, consumer behaviour, current affairs and the wider media and communications landscape.
  • Bring useful ideas, examples and emerging opportunities into the team.
Contribute to Four
  • Support pitches and proposals with research, ideas and digital recommendations.
  • Take part in internal learning, platform training and relevant external courses.
  • Share knowledge, support colleagues and play an active part in agency life.
What you will bring
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent organisation, time management and attention to detail.
  • Curiosity about digital media, advertising, technology, business and culture.
  • A practical, proactive approach, with a willingness to ask questions, solve problems and suggest better ways of doing things.
  • Comfort working with numbers, data and spreadsheets.
  • Creativity, commercial awareness and an instinct for what makes communications effective.
  • The ability to balance priorities, meet deadlines and stay positive in a busy agency environment.
  • A collaborative approach and a genuine desire to learn.
Digital know-how

You will have working knowledge of Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams. Some knowledge of paid search, paid social, online video, display advertising or web analytics would be useful, but we are just as interested in your curiosity, judgement and willingness to learn. Training and support will be part of the role. We are interested in what you can do and your willingness to learn, not in a single route into the profession or a particular type of qualification.

What success looks like
  • Clients and colleagues trust you to deliver accurate work and follow through on actions.
  • Campaigns are set up carefully, monitored closely and reported clearly.
  • You grow in confidence across digital platforms, media planning and client conversations.
  • You use initiative, spot opportunities and bring solutions rather than simply raising problems.
  • You can explain campaign performance in plain English and offer a clear recommendation.
  • You actively own your learning and professional development.
Where this role can take you

The role offers a clear route towards Senior Digital Account Executive. Progression will come through consistently strong delivery, growing client confidence, deeper digital and media knowledge, sound judgement and clear evidence of professional development.
