The Role
- Creating and managing specialist menus for individuals with complex food allergies.
- Ensuring menus meet food standards requirements and are compliant with regulations.
- Working with key individuals to agree menus that meet individual requirements.
- Liaise with key stakeholders and provide advice on nutrition and allergen management.
- Working closely with the food development and procurement teams.
- Supporting the operations team with nutritional and allergen advice.
- Line manage a nutrition administrator.
The Requirements
- Experience in allergen management and/or food nutrition.
- Knowledge of allergen regulations and best practices related to allergen management.
- Strong understanding of allergen risks and how to mitigate them in food production and service.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to train and educate catering teams effectively.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and proactively, managing multiple tasks and responsibilities.
