A leading NHS organization seeks a dedicated Nutrition and Dietetic professional to provide care services within Paediatric Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis departments. The role involves delivering nutrition advice, supporting training for student dietitians, and liaising with healthcare teams across Yorkshire. Candidates should possess a BSc in Nutrition & Dietetics and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills, with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
To provide a professional Nutrition and Dietetic care service within the Paediatric Respiratory and Cystic Fibrosis (CF) services. This includes advice to in-patients, out-patients, their parents and carers, all healthcare staff, and participation in the training of student dietitians.
The post holder will be expected to deliver a service to the respiratory service for both in and out patients. As well as Leeds respiratory patients, the service will also require input from respiratory patients across Yorkshire, necessitating liaison with local paediatric dietitians across the network.
The post holder will assist the lead dietitian in delivering the CF service and gain experience in Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD), working alongside another B6 to provide cover for the service and general medicine.
You will demonstrate initiative in supporting senior specialist dietitians and the clinical dietetic manager in the department's day-to-day management and participate in training student dietitians.
The role is Monday to Friday.

You will work within specialist respiratory and CF teams, with support and training provided, as part of a larger paediatric dietetic team of 32 dietitians.
