We pride ourselves on being an incredibly friendly and welcoming department, regularly receiving feedback from Student Dietitians and colleagues that we are like one big, supportive family.

Our work is well respected by colleagues across our organisation, with close working links between Dietetics, Speech and Language Therapy and our national award-winning Nutrition Nurse service. We also work closely with our community counterparts, with a focus on seamless and quality patient care.

We have an established student training programme supporting students from Manchester Metropolitan University, University of Chester and University of Central Lancashire.

You will gain experience and training in the support of Student Dietitians on their P2 and P3 placements with our team. You would join a team of nearly 40 experienced and forward-thinking Dietitians, Dietetic Support Workers and Administrative staff. We are committed to the continuing professional development of our team and will provide you with structured competency-based learning and development opportunities as part of your role, including opportunity for service development and clinical audit experience.
