A prestigious NHS Trust in Coventry is seeking a Band 5 rotational dietitian to provide comprehensive dietetic services for adults and children across various medical settings. The role includes assessing patients, developing treatment plans, and working within a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates would have a strong commitment to delivering quality patient care. The position begins as a full-time role (37.5 hours) for the first 8 months, and then transitions to part-time work (22.5 hours).
The Band 5 rotational role provides experience in a variety of settings across UHCW and may be placed within any of the services supported by UHCW Dietitians.
Provides a professional dietetic service for adults and paediatrics across a range of medical and surgical inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and the community at UHCW.
Assesses and treats patients/clients, maintains records, with support from senior colleagues as necessary.
Liaises with dietetic colleagues and other hospital staff, such as medical, nursing, catering, and other health professionals.
Note: For the first 8 months, this position is full-time (37.5 hours), reducing to 22.5 hours after this period due to temporary funding.
