Job Description:

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employs around 40,000 staff across clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide hospital, primary, community, and mental health services to over 1.15 million people, extending to 2.2 million with regional and national services.

This is a permanent, part-time position of 22.3 hours per week, with a shift pattern covering Monday to Sunday (3 days over 7).

The salary is pro-rata for part-time hours.

We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Dietetic Support Worker to join the Scottish Inherited Metabolic Disorders Service (SIMDS). The ideal candidate will have knowledge of nutrition, catering, or health-related subjects at SVQ level 3 or equivalent experience.

The successful candidate will be a valued member of the multidisciplinary team, providing care to infants, children, and adults with IMD. With designated centres in Glasgow and Edinburgh, SIMDS offers a comprehensive, high-quality service across Scotland.
