Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Dietetic Assistant Practitioner to join our forward-thinking team in the acute hospital setting, supporting a diverse inpatient caseload under supervision.

You will develop clinical skills through regular supervision and CPD opportunities, liaising with the MDT and handling admin tasks such as updating spreadsheets and tracking patients within the oncology pathway.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills both written and verbal.
• Admin duties including tracking patients.
• Experience liaising with MDT members.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a patient caseload under the supervision of a Registered dietitian
• Liaise with members of the MDT regarding the nutritional care of patients on your caseload
• You will have admin role to track patients within the oncology pathway who are under the dietitian.
• Involve in updating spreadsheets
