Overview

Butler Machinery Company and Butler Ag Equipment are seeking self-motivated, customer-focused service technicians to join our team. In this role, you'll use your mechanical skills to perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on customer equipment. Pay Scale: $30.56/hr - $49.51/hr, DOE.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on construction, agriculture, or power equipment.
  • Diagnose issues within diesel systems, including hydraulics, electrical, and power trains.
  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Engage in ongoing learning to stay current with industry standards.
  • Lift up to 70 lbs.
  • Travel to various Butler and customer locations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Two-year associate degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • Trade-specific tools, including hand and pneumatic tools.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficient with computer technology.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • CDL or ability to obtain one.
  • Valid work authorization in the U.S.
  • Problem-solving skills and quick learner.
