Job summary
Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Diesel Pump Engineer position based in Derby, covering the East Midlands. The role splits between workshop-based servicing and field-based site work, with overtime and company benefits.

Qualifications
- Mechanical engineering or fitting background.
- Experience working on diesel engines, pumps, plant equipment or similar machinery.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Commutable to Derby.
Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair diesel-powered pump equipment
- Workshop and field-based role covering the East Midlands
- Inspect, prepare and test pump hire equipment ready for customer use
- Attend customer sites to install, service and maintain pumping systems
- Diagnose mechanical faults and complete repairs
- Carry out servicing on diesel engines and associated components
- Full training provided on specialist pump equipment
- Participate in an on-call rota
- Derby-based role covering the East Midlands region
