Job description

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining John Deere equipment. From routine maintenance to complex repairs, you’ll apply your expertise to ensure optimal performance and reliability for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform service, repairs and maintenance of all machinery and equipment (both in the workshop and on client farms).
  • Diagnose and interpret machine faults to get our customers back up and running.
  • Manage and maintain service records for machinery.
  • Provide technical advice and support to customers and other service technicians.

The Ideal Candidate :

  • Relevant trade qualifications : Heavy Commercial Vehicle (HV Diesel Mechanics), Agricultural Mechanical Technology, Mobile Plant Technology, Automotive Manufacturing, Fitter / Turner or other relevant experience and qualifications.
  • Current and valid driver’s licence
  • Organised with great attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
