Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Location: Epsom, NH

Hours: 40 Hours (Opportunity for overtime)

Pay Range: $26-32 Depending on experience.

Come join our team! As a diesel mechanic, you will perform complex operations including engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust repairs on large commercial vehicles. Following OEM and other standards, you will perform thorough preventive maintenance inspections, along with roadside and emergency service repairs, among other duties. Candidates must have accreditation from a school or certification program, proven experience, and be able to pass a background check. Read more to apply!

Responsibilities:

  1. Perform thorough, accurate preventative maintenance inspections.
  2. Complete all required maintenance operations, including lubrication, fluid changes, brake adjustments, and tire rotation, following schedules.
  3. Perform unscheduled maintenance as needed, under the direction of the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
  4. Perform complex repairs including engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust systems, interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  5. Provide emergency roadside services as required.
  6. Inspect equipment and diagnose mechanical defects.
  7. Document repairs and parts used on work orders accurately.
  8. Maintain tools and work areas in a neat and orderly condition.
  9. Perform other duties as required.
  10. Be available for on-call service, extended hours, or weekend work during emergency conditions.
  11. Occasionally drive vans, buses, or other vehicles for road tests.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a diesel mechanic or mechanic.
  • Accreditation from a recognized school or certification program.
  • Complete all required training.
  • Pass pre-employment background checks.
