Job summary

A leading company in the heavy plant industry is seeking a Plant Engineer to service and repair various machinery including Crushers and Screeners. The ideal candidate will have NVQ Level 2/3 in Plant Maintenance and experience in construction plant equipment. This role offers excellent training opportunities and the chance to work with diverse machinery across a large region.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plant/Agricultural machinery required.
• Experience in Construction Plant, Quarrying, or Recycling equipment is preferred.
• Eager to receive training and willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair a variety of heavy plant machinery.
• Handle mechanical and electrical repairs on diesel engines and hydraulic systems.
• Cover a large region responding to service requests and breakdowns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a plant engineer who wants to increase the variety of machinery they work on. The business specialises in Heavy Plant, Waste, Recycling & Quarrying equipment.

The ideal candidate for the role is someone from the Heavy Plant sector and have previously worked on brands such as McCloskey, Powerscreen, Terex and associated machinery. You will have a minimum of NVQ 2 in Plant/Agricultural machinery.

The day to day role of a Heavy Plant Engineer within this organisation is to service, maintain & repair Heavy Plant equipment such as Crushers, Cone Crushers, Screeners, Trommels and Material Handling equipment to name a few. You will be covering large region completing services & reacting to breakdowns on customer sites.
