Job description

Job Title: Diesel Fitter

We are seeking a Diesel Fitter for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling, repairing, and fitting a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.

Responsibilities:

1. Split working between the company workshop and customer sites.
2. Dismantle, diagnose, and fit on a range of Diesel Pumps and Engines.
3. Undertake repair work in the company workshop on Pumps and Engines.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in Diesel Fitting, ideally on Pumps or Engines.
• Confidence in stripping, repairing, and fitting mechanical components.
• Previous experience as a diesel fitter.
• Based within a commutable distance of Edinburgh.
• Full Driving Licence.

Details:

• Salary: £16.12 per hour.
• Full-time, 39-hour week.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30, Friday 8:00 - 15:30.
• Overtime available.
• 33 days holiday including public holidays.
• Pension scheme.
