Assistant Marine Engineer

£30,000 - £35,000 + Pension

London

Do you have experience repairing and installing engines? Are you looking for an opportunity to gain experience and be trained as a Marine Engineer working on high performance boat engines? Are you looking to join a company where you can hone your skills in engine performance and reliability, and progress your career in London?

This is a great opportunity to work for arguably the most iconic speedboat operator in the UK and work on state of the art engines.

THE ROLE
  1. Test all engines, gears, controls and parts, ensuring no damage.
  2. Manage excess water in the hulls; plan, act, and prevent.
  3. Ensure steps are secure, boats are clean, and bilge pumps are empty, including VHF's and gauges.
  4. Liaise with the Head of Operations on vessel availability to satisfy bookings with the maintenance schedule.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and logical order of maintenance store boxes for effective Friday boat checks.
THE PERSON
  1. Experience repairing, installing, and maintaining diesel engines.
  2. Passion for boats and high performance engines.
