Job description

Technique Recruitment Solutions Ltd is working as a recruitment agency with our client, a well-established & leading packaging/print manufacturer based in Norwich, supplying a full range of packaging solutions across various market sectors.

Salary: Negotiable based on relevant experience

Benefits: 26 days holiday + bank holidays, free onsite car parking

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week

Location: Norwich

Our client is currently seeking an experienced and qualified die-cut operator to manufacture corrugated/card/paper-based packaging according to high-quality print specifications.

Position: Machine Technician (Packaging/Print/Die Cutting)

This is an opportunity to join an established print packaging company where you will be a key member of the machining team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in Machining, Packaging, Print, or similar fields
  • Relevant Die Cutting experience is essential
  • Background in the Packaging sector is preferred

Main Duties:

  • Checking print quality and product integrity, ensuring products meet specifications and are fit for purpose. Must have good attention to detail.
  • Taking dimensional measurements and ensuring they align with product specifications within tolerances.
  • Cleaning and maintaining machinery.
  • Operating a variety of machinery proficiently with flexibility.
  • Maintaining accurate records throughout the production process.
  • Planning ahead to minimize downtime and ensure material availability.
  • Collaborating with the team leader on process improvements and projects.
