Job summary

Cardiff North Dialysis Unit, a 32-station haemodialysis unit run by B Braun Avitum in partnership with the NHS Trust, invites applications for a dialysis nurse post. You will assess and care for patients during their treatment, and coordinate with the unit link role and the multidisciplinary team while mentoring colleagues and student nurses.

The post operates on a 3:1 patient-to-nurse rota from Monday to Saturday with no Sunday or night shifts.

Qualifications

• RGN qualification and current NMC registration.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
• Nursing experience in direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and care for dialysis patients during treatment.
• Coordinate with unit link role and multidisciplinary team.
• Mentor and support colleagues, staff and student nurses.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with patients and Trust staff.
