Job summary

DaVita UK is seeking a dedicated dialysis support role to assist the registered nurse in delivering high-quality patient care. You will prepare patients for dialysis, monitor vitals, and operate dialysis equipment in line with prescribed treatments.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, infection control, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent healthcare qualification.
• Experience in a haemodialysis unit and caring for renal/dialysis patients.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the patient for dialysis treatment and monitor vital signs.
• Programme and operate the dialysis machine according to the prescribed dialysis treatment.
• Connect the patient to the dialysis machine and commence treatment as prescribed.
• Document actions clearly in patient records and report abnormalities promptly.
• Support infection control practices and contribute to high quality patient care.
