Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Healthcare Assistant in Taunton. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will help prepare, restore and maintain treatment areas and equipment while ensuring a safe environment for patients, relatives and staff.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours) with varied shifts. The company offers extensive training, a competitive salary up to £26,000 and progression through a structured framework for career development.

Qualifications

• Prefer NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Healthcare background preferred.
• Must be able to work across various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to maintain areas and equipment.
• Ensure the treatment environment is safe for patients, relatives and visitors.
• Perform duties that involve walking between patients and some lifting.
• Develop knowledge of company procedures and quality management through training.
