Job summary

A leading automotive dealership in Croydon is seeking a Diagnostic Technician to perform diagnostic investigations and repairs to high standards. The role offers up to £40,000 basic salary with OTE of £45-50,000, excellent training, and employee benefits including a company car scheme and health cash plan.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role.
  • Full UK driving licence required.
  • MOT licence is advantageous but not essential.

  • Complete vehicle health checks and reports.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training.

Overview

Diagnostic Technician (Vehicle Technician / Service Technician / Mechanic) to join a reputable and forward-thinking dealership group. Salary: Up to £40,000 basic, £45-50,000 OTE. Hours: Monday to Friday. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a leading automotive brand, offering excellent training, career progression and employee benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out diagnostic investigations and repairs to manufacturer standards
  • Complete vehicle health checks and video reports for customers
  • Communicate effectively with workshop supervision and service advisors
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
  • Participate in ongoing brand and technical training
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Diagnostic Technician or similar role
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Full UK driving licence
  • MOT licence (advantageous but not essential)
