Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for two Vehicle Diagnostic Technicians in Grimsby to diagnose faults, perform diagnostics and complete repairs on a wide range of vehicles destined for resale. The role offers a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, with either permanent or temp-to-perm opportunities in a modern workshop.

Successful candidates will have Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance qualifications and a full UK or EU driving licence, with strong fault-finding abilities and a commitment to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Fault-finding and diagnostic skills are essential.
• Experience diagnosing a broad range of mechanical and electrical faults.
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle faults.
• Carry out repairs in line with manufacturer and company methods.
• Complete a range of mechanical repairs (e.g., cambelt/clutch/wheel alignment/brake/suspension).
• Identify repair requirements and recommend solutions.
• Meet productivity targets and repair deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop environment.
• Complete job cards and documentation accurately.
