Lookers Edinburgh Audi is recruiting for a Diagnostic Technician to join their workshop. You will work alongside experienced technicians, conducting vehicle health checks, services, and repairs using the latest technology.

Reporting to Matt Dick, the Aftersales Manager, you will receive ongoing support, training opportunities, including Hybrid & Electric training, and career progression options.

Our technicians are vital to delivering first-class customer service. We welcome qualified Vehicle Technicians or experienced Mechanics from dealer groups or independent garages to apply.

Responsibilities

  1. Carry out vehicle health checks with the latest technology.
  2. Perform vehicle services according to manufacturer guidelines and customer requests.
  3. Complete additional repairs with customer approval.
  4. Ensure warranty repairs adhere to manufacturer guidelines and documentation is complete.
  5. Conduct road tests to verify fault rectification.
  6. Complete all relevant paperwork to a high standard.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have workshop experience, be self-motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, and able to meet high standards. A full UK driving licence and NVQ Level 3 or equivalent are required. MOT Licence is a plus.

Previous experience with the brand is advantageous but not essential, as full brand training can be provided.
