Job summary

Une entreprise de services automobiles bien établie recherche un Technicien Diagnostic Automobile expérimenté à Leicester. Ce poste à plein temps offre un environnement dynamique où le candidat pourra faire appel à ses compétences techniques pour diagnostiquer et résoudre les problèmes des véhicules tout en respectant les normes de sécurité. Une bonne connaissance des systèmes automobiles et une approche orientée client sont essentielles.

Qualifications

• Expérience préalable en tant que Technicien Véhicule, Technicien Service ou Technicien Diagnostic.
• Permis de conduire britannique valide (essentiel).
• Certification d'Inspecteur MOT est un avantage mais non essentiel.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostiquer et réparer des pannes mécaniques et électriques sur divers véhicules.
• Effectuer l'entretien de routine, la préparation au MOT.
• Utiliser efficacement les équipements de diagnostic pour assurer une recherche de pannes précise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on a range of vehicles.
• Perform routine maintenance, servicing, and MOT preparation.
• Utilise diagnostic equipment effectively to ensure accurate fault-finding.
• Maintain detailed service and repair records.
• Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer and safety standards.
• Liaise with service advisors and customers when required.

Candidate Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent (Level 2 with strong experience may be considered).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Service Technician, or Diagnostic Technician.
• Excellent knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• MOT Tester certification is an advantage but not essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
