Overview

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Diagnostic Technician to join a well-established automotive dealership offering new and used vehicles, servicing, MOTs, repairs, and parts. You’ll play a key role in ensuring vehicles meet the highest safety and performance standards while delivering outstanding service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work to manufacturer standards
• Diagnose faults and ensure accurate, first-time fixes to keep customers satisfied
• Perform vehicle health checks and provide detailed reports
• Conduct video inspections to highlight issues and additional service needs
• Update workshop management on job progress
• Ensure workshop safety, cleanliness, and compliance

About You

• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Vehicle Technician, Mechanic, or similar role
• Recognised motor vehicle qualification (IMI, City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 or equivalent)
• MOT certification (advantageous – extra salary boost)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
