Role Responsibilities

You will spend most of your time in our workshop maintaining vehicles to high standards, conducting inspections, repairs, and services, and liaising with Service Advisors and customers. You will ensure all Vehicle Health Checks are completed, paperwork is accurate, and all jobs are completed within agreed timeframes, maintaining high productivity. Diagnostics and road testing are also key to exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Knowledge: Maintain high technical knowledge and comply with manufacturer training
  • Efficiency: Maintain high overall efficiency (hours sold vs. hours attended)
  • Quality: Uphold company and manufacturer quality standards, minimize repeat repairs
  • Standards: Keep work area, tools, and equipment to high standards, comply with health and safety regulations, and protect customer vehicles
Working Hours

Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00, with flexibility where possible.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have:

  • A relevant formal qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3) in Vehicle Repair
  • Previous diagnostic and fault-finding experience (desirable)
  • A full valid UK driving license
  • A flexible approach, ability to meet deadlines, and work as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures
