Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Diagnostic Technician in Eastbourne. You will service, repair, and maintain vehicles while inspecting components to diagnose issues. Solid experience in the automotive industry and a Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 are required. The position offers a basic salary of £35,000 plus bonus, with a Monday to Friday schedule.

• A full driving licence.

Responsibilities

Diagnostic Technician Vacancy

Service Technician / Diagnostic Technician / Master Technician / Vehicle Technician / Automotive Technician / Motor Mechanic / Car Mechanic / Car Technician - duties:

Carry out servicing, repairs, and maintenance to high standards.

Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment.

Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.

Conducting DVSA vehicle testing

Road testing vehicles to check repairs.

Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.

Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.

Completing all documentation to the required standard.

Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3 and solid work experience in the automotive industry.
