Job summary

A leading automotive client in Crawley, West Sussex, is recruiting an experienced Diagnostic Technician. You will work with a forward‑looking team using state‑of‑the‑art diagnostic tools on a range of vehicles, including EV and hybrid models.

The role involves complex diagnostics, repairs, and mentoring junior technicians. A recognised diagnostic qualification and a proactive approach to safety and quality are essential. A competitive package reflects experience and performance.

Responsibilities

• Conduct complex diagnostic, warranty, and service repairs on a variety of vehicles.
• Perform EV diagnostics and repairs (if qualified) in line with manufacturer standards.
• Utilise diagnostic software and equipment to identify and resolve faults.
• Carry out hydraulic repairs and mechanical work safely and accurately.
• Mentor Apprentices and share technical expertise.
• Maintain high safety and quality standards on every vehicle.

Duties of the Diagnostic Technician:

• Conduct complex diagnostic, warranty, and service repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Perform EV diagnostics and repairs (if qualified) in line with manufacturer standards
