Prince Charles Hospital in Merthyr Tydfil is recruiting Band 5 Radiographers who are HCPC registered with a BSc (Hon)/ DCR (R) in Diagnostic Radiography. Welsh Desirable skills are considered advantageous.

The role involves a variety of rotation across General, A&E, Fluoroscopy, Theatre & Portables and includes an out-of-hours shift system, such as 9-5, 12-hour day/night shifts and weekends. The department operates 24/7 and offers a comprehensive preceptorship to support new staff as they

Qualifications

• Must possess BSc (Hon)/ DCR (R) in Diagnostic Radiography.
• Current HCPC registration is required.
• Welsh Desirable: Speaking & Listening Level 3 (CEFR B2) or above is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining a high standard of care to all service users.
• Providing a high standard of imaging, while ensuring all protocols/procedures are adhered to.
• Keep up to date with CPD activities in line with HCPC requirements.
• Participate in departmental QA programmes.
• Work within radiation safety rules and regulations.
