Diagnostic Imaging Assistant - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract

37.5 Hours & Fixed Term
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Beaumont Hospital in Bolton is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.

We have an opportunity for a Diagnostic Imaging Assistant to join their team of staff in the Imaging department. This is a full-time role for 37.5 hours a week, requiring flexibility in shift patterns.

Duties of This Role Include
  • Providing high standard of patient-centred care as an integral part of the imaging team, meeting the needs of patients, consultants, and colleagues.
  • Working within the multi-disciplinary team to deliver care, maintain, and enhance customer service and satisfaction under the supervision of a Registered Practitioner.
  • Conducting yourself professionally within the HCA/Imaging Assistants standard framework, adhering to NMC and HCPC codes of conduct.
  • Demonstrating competence within your scope of working areas as an Imaging Assistant.
  • Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.
  • Complying with all relevant mandatory training requirements.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
  • Previous experience in an Imaging or Healthcare Assistant role.
  • Experience in customer care, including challenging situations.
  • Care Certificate qualification.
  • NVQ Level 1 or willingness to work towards NVQ Level 2 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
  • Willingness to work towards NVQ Level 3 (Healthcare specific) or equivalent.
  • Maths and English GCSEs at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2.
