Job summary

A busy and friendly teaching practice in Tees Valley is seeking a motivated Diabetic Specialist Nurse to join their team. This role is ideally part-time to support diabetic chronic disease medication reviews. The nurse will manage and support patients with diabetes, provide care autonomously, and adhere to clinical protocols. Candidates should be registered nurses with specialized training in diabetes care. Flexible hours and salary based on skills and experience.

We are looking for a motivated Diabetic Specialist Nurse, to become an integral part of our Nursing team. Ideally looking for part time hours to support our Diabetic Chronic Disease medication reviews.

Main duties of the job

• Manage and supportingpatients with Diabetes including assessing, diagnosing and treating inaccordance with agreed medical/nursing protocols.
• Will provide and managecare programmes autonomously or under the instruction/referral from GPs/NursePractitioners
• Supports practice protocolsfor the surgery and clinical protocols for the clinical team to work within.
