Job description


We are pleased to offer two fantastic opportunities to join our team:
• Permanent Part-Time Position – 18.75 hours per week
• Secondment Full-Time Position – 1 year duration

In this role, you will provide expert clinical advice and develop individualised treatment plans for inpatients. You will also support and educate ward staff in the effective management of patients with diabetes.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate a genuine interest in diabetes care. Evidence of relevant experience in diabetes is essential.

All posts are advertised as Trust wide and you may be asked to work between Bristol & WGH.

The post holder will deliver expert advice, support, and information to patients from diagnosis through to curative, palliative, and end-of-life care. Collaborating closely with the multidisciplinary team across hospital and community settings, they will ensure the delivery of a coordinated, high-quality diabetes service.

In addition, they will actively contribute to education, clinical audit, and research activities. The post holder will take a leading role in multidisciplinary team meetings, driving discussions to enhance patient care and outcomes.
