Job overview

We seek dedicated Diabetes Specialist Nurses for the Elsie Bertram Diabetes Centre, covering three teams. Our multidisciplinary approach includes consultant-led clinics and patient education to support self-management of diabetes.

Main duties
  • Provide inpatient, outpatient, and community clinic services, including outreach clinics in antenatal and young adult services.
  • Deliver patient education individually and in groups.
  • Initiate insulin/GLP-1 therapy and utilize diabetes technology such as insulin pumps and CGM.
  • Review and support patients, carers, and families in managing diabetes.
  • Opportunities to educate staff and support multidisciplinary teams.
