Job description

We are looking for a Diabetes Nurse to join a specialist community provider in Gloucester. This Diabetes Nurse position offers a competitive salary of up to £44,000 plus an annual bonus, sociable working hours, a company car, and more excellent benefits.

In this role, you will join a highly-respected primary care provider working closely with GP practices in the community. With excellent support for training and development, you'll be part of a skilled team focused on your personal and professional growth.

As a Diabetes Nurse, you will:
  • Work shifts of Mon – Fri / 9am – 5pm
  • Conduct patient audits and deliver specialist clinics within a GP practice
  • Deliver high-quality care to improve patient outcomes in line with Diabetes guidelines
  • Identify and optimize care for patients with sub-optimally controlled Type 2 diabetes
  • Conduct point-of-care testing and refer for specialist insulin treatment as needed
  • Provide education, support, and advice to patients with Type 2 Diabetes
