County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology. The post offers a 10 programmed activities contract with a mix of outpatient and inpatient duties across our diabetes and endocrinology services.

The successful candidate will join a 1:5 rotation with colleagues across UHND and DMH sites, with opportunities to develop subspecialist interests and to contribute to service development, teaching, and CPD.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with licence to practice.
• CCT in specialty or within 6 months of attainment.
• CESR applicants welcome to apply.
• Experience in diabetes and endocrinology.

Responsabilités

• Deliver clinical work in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolic service.
• Develop subspecialist skills and contribute to service planning.
• Supervise junior staff and contribute to teaching.
• Participate in CPD, audits and clinical governance.
