Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Diabetes Dietitian (Band 7) on a fixed-term basis for 12 months to cover maternity leave. The role is part-time, 22.5 hours per week (Mon–Wed), based at King's Mill and Newark hospitals in Sutton-in-Ashfield.

You will deliver dietetic input in MDT pump clinics and diabetic clinics, requiring knowledge of insulin pumps and NHS practice. We welcome applicants with diabetes experience and HCPC registration.

Qualifications

• Excellent clinical reasoning and the ability to interpret complex information to devise evidence-based treatment plans.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence MDT working.
• Knowledge of diabetes care and insulin pumps essential for pump clinics and clinics across King’s Mill and Newark hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dietetic input in MDT pump clinics and dietetic-led clinics for adults with diabetes.
• Provide patient-centred care and contribute to high-quality nutritional management across King's Mill and Newark hospitals.
• Support flexible working hours and contribute to service development and audit.
