Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a skilled Technician to join its Global Supply Chain organization in Lisburn. The role focuses on assembling, testing, fault diagnosis and repair of DGA instruments and subassemblies to ensure high quality, reliability and customer satisfaction.

The successful candidate will work in a Lean manufacturing environment, collaborate across engineering, assembly and shipping teams, and train colleagues to share knowledge and improve processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering.
• Proven ability to use test equipment and software to monitor, diagnose and repair equipment.
• Experience with calibration testing and working from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test DGA instruments and subassemblies.
• Diagnose faults and repair to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Train colleagues on assembly and test processes and support knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with assembly, test and shipping teams to sequence daily customer requirements.
• Support planning and scheduling of production build sequences.
